Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Playsher (“we”, “us”), operated by Harrish Kumar S, an individual carrying on business in India under the brand Playsher, collects when you use the Playsher mobile app or this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

1. What we collect

• Account details — your name, mobile number, email address and profile photo if you add one. You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password.
• Booking details — the grounds, slots, games and coaching sessions you book, cancel or host, and the amount paid.
• Payment details — payments are processed by our payment gateway. We receive a transaction reference and status. We never see or store your full card, UPI or bank credentials.
• Location — with your permission, your approximate location, so we can show grounds near you. You can refuse and search by city or area instead.
• Device and usage data — device model, operating system version, app version, crash reports and basic usage events, used to keep the app working.
• Anything you write — reviews, game descriptions, support messages.

2. Why we use it

• To create and secure your account, and to send the one-time password you sign in with.
• To take, hold, confirm and cancel bookings, and to tell the ground owner who is coming.
• To process payments and refunds (see our refund and cancellation policy), and to keep the financial records the law requires us to keep.
• To send you booking notifications and service messages.
• To find and fix problems, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the product.
• To send you offers or product news — only if you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is necessary, with:

• Ground owners and coaches you book with — your name, mobile number and the booking details, so they can let you in and contact you about that booking.
• Other players, when you host or join an open game — your display name and profile photo.
• Service providers — our payment gateway, SMS provider, hosting and analytics providers, who may process data on our behalf under contract.
• Authorities, where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, users or safety.

4. How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after you close your account. Everything else is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed.

5. Your choices

• See and correct your details from Profile in the app.
• Turn off location permission, notifications or marketing messages at any time, in the app or your device settings.
• Delete your account — request it from Settings in the app, or through this page. We explain there exactly what is removed and what has to be kept.
• Ask us a question — write to privacy@playsher.com and we will reply within 30 days.

6. Security

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Passwords, where used, are stored hashed, never in plain text. Access to production data is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your device and one-time passwords to yourself.

7. Children

Playsher is not intended for children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

8. Cookies on this website

This website uses only what is needed to serve the pages. If we add analytics later, we will name the provider here and ask for consent where the law requires it.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for a material change, tell you in the app before it takes effect.

10. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as they apply to us.
